Xola Consultant Natasha Martin to Present Web 2.0 Marketing Trends and Strategies at Adventure Travel World Summit

(SANTA FE, NM) - October 20, 2008: Xola Consultant Natasha Martin will be a featured speaker at the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA)’s fifth Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) in Norway, October 21-25. She will deliver two separate presentations about Web 2.0 marketing trends and strategies to hundreds of executives representing various facets of the global adventure travel industry. In these presentations, Martin will explain how industry executives can use Web 2.0 tools to retain and attract clients, maintain a consistent and focused approach to social media, and position their marketing efforts effectively for the next wave of innovation that will hit the web - total connection, 100% of the time.

Summit organizers invited Martin for her specific expertise to co-present a session with Kevin Johnson of Deluxe Digital Media titled “Beyond Web 2.0: Anticipating a New (Internet) World Order.” In this lecture, the duo will explain the changing trends in the use of the Internet in the adventure travel industry, and provide specific tactics that attendees can incorporate into their marketing plans to respond effectively.

Martin will also partner with Johnson and Chris Noble of World Nomads to co-present a session called “Making Partners out of Your Travelers: Leveraging Consumer Influence”. This presentation offers tips for using Internet social networking and viral marketing tools to increase awareness for adventure travel products and services.

“The Internet is playing an increasingly significant role among travelers in the lifecycle of the global adventure travel experience – from research to booking trips to sharing experiences with friends and family,” said Martin. “It is important that companies in the adventure travel industry understand how to use today’s Web 2.0 tools to effectively market their products, while also preparing for the next phase of Internet innovation and interconnectivity.”
